A wonderful tradition to help us count our Jesus Prayer throughout the day, and remind us, and protect us. Each special knot is complex and contains 7 crosses, said to have been taught to Saint Anthony by an Angel after the devil untied the knots on his prayer rope as he tried to keep track of reciting the 150 psalms each day. It has been said that the Jesus Prayer, if said more people just 100 times per day, would end all war.
Jesus Prayer: "Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, have mercy on me, a sinner."
On the beads we say: "Most Holy Theotokos, save us."
We offer komboskinia in the following options:
bracelet (roughly 55 knots), meant to be worn;
thick bracelet (roughly 33 knots), meant to be worn;
100 knot prayer rope, not to be worn, but to be carried.

The thin bracelets are waxed cotton cord and will fit a child as young as 4 or 5 years old; it will also fit a large man's hand as it stretches.
The thick bracelets are macrame cord.
For all bracelets, you must not overstretch it, but roll it on the hand to the wrist and it will shrink to fit after a hot shower. If overstretched, you can push each knot back together (or have someone help you as it will be on one of your wrists) and each knot will retighten.
The 100 knot prayer rope is satin cord.
